casa ganta.
Loreto, Baja California Sur.
Mexico
2021
The interior design and architecture of Casa Ganta, located in Loreto, were inspired by the flora and cave paintings of the “Sierra de la Giganta,” which is home to a vast collection of ancient rock art and diverse species of flora that thrive in the Baja California Sur mountain range, including the famous “Choyas.”
While the entire facade of the house is painted in bold blue, the interiors remain calm and clean in white, creating a clear contrast between the mexican landscape and the peaceful atmosphere indoors. Design decorations and accesories were mostly crafted by local artisans and others from different parts of Mexico, such as Oaxaca, Hidalgo and Michoacan.
