A racquet (noun): A bat with a long handle attached to a round frame with a network of tight strings over it; used to hit the ball in tennis.

Memories, like racquets, are as unique as the minds that hold them—each a personal perception of our past that differs from one person to the next. The following project is an exhibition displaying memories transformed over time by a single object: a tennis racquet, and one memory in particular—the sense of nostalgia it evokes for me and my sister, reminding us of home.

Each axonometric and visualisation in the exhibition represents an addition or a deconstructive evolution of the racquet, creating different scenarios within a space. The final outcome is a space shaped by an initial thought—the racquet—illustrating how a simple object can evolve into a multifaceted representation of memory and space.
